Dr. Michael Hansen, Senior Staff Scientist with Consumers Union responsible for developing CU positions on safety, testing and labeling of genetically engineered food.
Dr. Urvashi Rangan, leads and directs the Consumer Safety and Sustainability Group responsible for managing the ratings system, database, and Web site, Eco-labels.org for evaluating environmental and food labels.
Daniel B. Ravicher is Executive Director of the Public Patent Foundation (“PUBPAT”) and a Lecturer in Law at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Professor Ravicher is a registered patent attorney who is representing a coalition of organic farmers in the class action law suit OSGATA v. Monsanto alleging that the crops of many small farmers fall victim to cross-pollination, a process for which they cannot be held responsible. Contact Information:
