HEN is a growing, dynamic and diverse practice group of the American Dietetic Association. Don't miss out! Not an RD? Join HEN as a Friend or sponsor, or partner with us on a one time project and task force, and make a difference.


Send in your speaking event or local meeting for the public Calendar.
Attend a conference and meet HEN members for a meal and fun.
Write a blurb for the HEN Post.
Write a continuing education article for the HEN Post (we have a great CPU coordinator to help you out!).
Attending a conference? Spend an hour manning a HEN Table. We'll even send you the brochures and posters!
Jump in on a discussion on the electronic mailing list/yahoo group.
Attend a HEN session or Farm/garden Tour during FNCE. You'll have fun, the CPUs are a bonus.

Contact the committee chair in your area of expertise (or interest) and ask what they're working on. Can you help?
Just be a sounding board on a committee.
Join the newsletter editorial committee and get first glance at the newsletter.
Join a task force and help with a one time project.
Help write an education piece for the website.
Join the Student Group.
Apply for a scholarship.

Run for secretary: listen in, take notes, find out what it's all about!
Run for Treasurer.
Volunteer on the communications committee and contribute to the website.
Share your enthusiasm for HEN with new members on the Membership committee.
