Speakers Bureau Grants

The HEN Speakers Bureau Grant is designed to assist HEN members in sharing the HEN mission and vision with others through presentations at affiliate and interdisciplinary conferences. Scholarship recipients may receive up to $250 to defray travel costs and presentation related expenses. Topics from past scholarship recipients have included:

  • Food Sustainability: Resource and Tips for Dietetic Professionals
  • An Inside Look at the Academy’s New Sustainable, Resilient, and Healthy Food and Water Systems Standards of Professional Practice
  • Integrating Local Foods into Institutional Food Service
  • Local Foods – Issues for RDs

Applications will be accepted until all scholarships are awarded.
