Policy Myths & Misconceptions: How RDs Can Get Involved

Wanting to be involved with advocacy but unsure where to start? Join the HEN Public Policy Committee for a hands-on webinar to discuss policy basics. Dietitians from across the country and working in diverse practice settings will share stories and examples of ways that RDs can use their experience to advocate for nutrition security and equitable food systems. Participants will brainstorm together to connect the dots between local, state, and federal issues. You will leave with practical ideas to apply in your work and community setting.
